Financial Highlights
Operating income was $38.3 billion, up 21%, while net income reached $38.5 billion on a GAAP basis, up 60%. Microsoft Cloud revenue crossed $50 billion for the quarter, reflecting strong demand for the company's AI-integrated services.
AI Business Growth
"We are only at the beginning phases of AI diffusion and already Microsoft has built an AI business that is larger than some of our biggest franchises," said CEO Satya Nadella. The company is pushing AI capabilities across its entire product stack.
Cloud Performance
Azure and other cloud services continue to drive growth, with AI copilots and services integrated throughout Microsoft 365 and enterprise products. The results show successful AI monetization across the company's offerings.
